What You’ll Do Every Day
As our Quality and Health Safety Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of operational safety, ensuring our workplace meets international standards while protecting our team members and assets. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive safety inspections, implementing cutting-edge safety protocols, and contributing to our commitment to zero-accident operations.
Core Responsibilities Quality and Health Safety Officer
Safety Inspection & Compliance
- Perform scheduled safety inspections across assigned work locations following our comprehensive QHSE operational framework
- Execute detailed premises and internal route safety audits to maintain optimal workplace conditions
- Document inspection findings and collaborate with the Head of Safety to implement corrective measures promptly
Transportation Safety Management
- Conduct thorough route risk assessments for all transportation activities, ensuring full compliance with Emirates Transport safety requirements
- Monitor and investigate traffic incidents involving company vehicles, drivers, and monitors
- Develop comprehensive accident investigation reports with preventive action plans to eliminate future occurrences
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Facilitate implementation of HSE procedures and international standards, including ISO 39001:2012 Road Traffic Safety certification
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all safety activities and compliance measures
- Support QHSE Department initiatives in developing business unit-specific safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply – we provide comprehensive training and mentorship
Experience Requirements
- Entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates
- 1-2 years of relevant safety, quality, or environmental experience preferred but not required
- Previous exposure to transportation, logistics, or industrial safety environments is advantageous
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software
- Understanding of international safety standards and regulations
