Key Responsibilities – Food Safety Inspector Role
Inspection Execution & Compliance:
- Execute detailed food safety inspections upon request from IC coordinator, ensuring all inspection information is complete and accurate
- Provide technical support as per ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065 standards, maintaining strict adherence to international quality frameworks
- Follow inspectors manual procedures and IJO guidelines for consistent inspection execution
- Deliver timely inspection report submissions to TFS IC office, meeting all KPI deadlines and performance metrics
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
- Report critical risk detection information to Inspection Coordinator during food inspection processes, following established risk assessment protocols
- Manage security material inventory supplied by IC coordinator, maintaining detailed records of usage, damage, and loss
- Implement standard security protocols for personnel protection, ensuring safe inspection execution under all conditions
- Monitor compliance with inspector manual guidelines, IJO procedures, SGS Policy, and SGS Ethics Code
Administrative Excellence:
- Provide comprehensive expense reporting related to inspection activities to IC Coordinator
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout all food safety assessment processes
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding inspection findings
Required Qualifications – Food Inspector UAE
Educational Background:
- University degree in science with specialization in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields
- Strong academic foundation in food safety principles and quality assurance methodologies
Professional Experience:
- Proven experience in inspection execution within food industry or related sectors
- Knowledge of food industry processes, regulations, and inspection standards
- Background in food quality control or food safety management preferred
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of ISO standards and inspection certification requirements
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance frameworks
