Position Overview:
The Process Technologist will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving innovation in food production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food manufacturing and a proven ability to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
– Ensure all products meet food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality specifications.
– Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to support the development of new products and processes.
– Conduct trials and experiments to refine production techniques and achieve consistent results.
– Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
– Provide technical support and training to production teams on new processes and equipment.
– Troubleshoot any production or process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
– Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
– Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing.
– Strong understanding of food safety standards, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO certifications.
– Proficiency in process optimization and troubleshooting production issues.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
