🎯 Role of Laboratory Technician

Sample Management & Testing:

Receive and systematically register food and water samples for comprehensive testing
Conduct advanced microbiological analyses including Total Plate Count, E. coli detection, Salmonella screening, and Listeria identification
Execute specialized tests that meet international food safety standards

Laboratory Operations:

Prepare culture media with precision and maintain optimal testing conditions
Calibrate sophisticated laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for peak performance
Document all procedures following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Validate and report results in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 international standards
Maintain rigorous biosafety protocols to protect both samples and personnel
Participate in internal audits and external proficiency testing programs
Support VVIP food safety risk assessments and client presentations

🎓 What We’re Looking For

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Microbiology, Food Technology, Biology, or related scientific field
Strong academic foundation in microbiological principles and food safety

Professional Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on experience in food or water microbiological testing
Proven track record working in laboratory environments
Experience with regulatory compliance and quality standards

Technical Expertise:

Comprehensive understanding of HACCP Level 4 principles
Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standards
Familiarity with DOH (Department of Health) or ESMA standards is highly valued
Proficiency in laboratory information management systems
